A jester again... kinda addictive you know, even though this one was my own creation ^^;

There goes a poem of mine along with the artwork ... (I'm supposing that's what should be posted in the "Art Poetry" section? O_o)

And yes, I the poem alone was my previous post, you're not mistaken!

- Master of Puppets -

There was a time I had you bewitched
A time my movements bent to your will
When by your skillful fingers my strings were pulled
When in my soulless body there was life to feel

The way you handled me was shy at first
Held back by the fear of tearing my restrains
But I proved strong enough to quench your thirst
And you made blood rush through my inexistent veins

But new toys are needed to keep people entertained
Of course you could have been no exception
So maybe it wasn’t fair for you to be blamed
For leaving me on a shelf, drowned in depression

And as with my expressionless eyes I watched you play
The new puppet owning the attention that had once been mine
I could sometimes feel you glance my way
A sad smile cracking as a fond memory flashed your mind

… But that was it…

Not forgotten (no, never forgotten)
Still important (yes, always important)
But hardened, torn and broken

The strings are tangled around my limbs
The only mean through which I could move
Now traps me in my useless body, as a cage, it seems

I’m covered by the dust of the past
I’m rotten by the future that never came
A doll who whished for what wasn’t meant to last

Never will my strings be pulled at again
Not by you, not by any other man
For who’d want a toy unable to follow their command?
